Where is my data stored?

All data lives on your device (on-device). Nothing is sent to the developer or any third party. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Does data carry over when I change my iPhone?

On the free plan, you can use "Manual export" to write data to CSV and import it on the new device. Pro will add iCloud sync (rolling out soon) for automatic, sign-in-free sync across multiple devices.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

The free plan includes capture, scene switching, scene-mapping customization, manual export, and the default + dark themes. Pro unlocks: full-history (no 7-day cutoff), iCloud sync (rolling out), additional color themes plus your own custom palettes, and renaming the 4 weights (names and meanings) in your own words.

How do I cancel Pro?

Open the iPhone Settings app → [your name] → Subscriptions → PocketToDo. Your task data will remain even after canceling.

The app icon changed when I switched themes

That's by design. The app icon follows the selected theme. Switch back to "sumi (default)" to restore the original icon.

Are there notifications?

By design, no. PocketToDo is built to not nag. We aim for natural recall — capturing as you remember, and surfacing as you switch scenes.
